Exhibition, Bohemian Karst House of Nature, Koněprusy
Inside a new building dedicated to the House of Nature concept, situated in an open space in front of the entrance to the cave system of Koněpruské jeskyně and designed by Architect Pekár, a new interactive exhibition was set up to present the kart geology and the natural settings of the Bohemian Karst. This turnkey project included not only the construction and graphic design of the exhibition, but also lighting, AV technology and the production of all the content. The different topics are underlined by the different colours of the sections, blue symbolising the geology, green the natural world. Communication with the visitors is offered not only via touch screens with plenty of animated stories, text and visual information and sound effects, but also by haptic exhibits and playing in both sections, situated especially on play tables. A separate exhibition element consists of a built-in segment with a climbing frame for bigger children, while a children’s playroom was built for the little ones in the basement, combined with a café for parents to relax. The exhibition sections, through which children are guided by a trilobite – the symbol of the House of Nature – are complete with the AV multifunctional hall equipped with screening technology and a guide rail system for temporary exhibitions.
